With our soon-to-be Commander in Chief, we hold the promise of a GRRRREAT start to the New Year! Our freedom and our security, our borders and our common sense, our care for our Veterans and our inner city dwellers, our new infrastructure and our respect in the world are all coming to you and a city close to you throughout the next four years.
Watching this new can-do era of American ingenuity unshackled will be both a blessing and a joy. Like our Capitol building which just had 1300 cracks in its dome repaired and 1.1 million pounds of scaffolding removed, we, as American citizens, are ready to stand on our own Foundation again. “Slowly the scaffolding supporting the renewed Capitol has been coming down. Just pieces remain which will be removed by the Inauguration. And while the scaffolding is down, other materials for the renovation project are still visible and will be removed soon. Officials have promised the project will be completed before the 2017 inauguration festivities. We have already witnessed our President-elect Donald Trump accomplish more in one day than his predecessor did in a week. If you have read his book, The Art of the Deal, you know that on time and under budget are his purely American mantra. Honesty and forthrightness are what you can expect. Information unfiltered by liberal media is what you will hear. Just tune in to his tweets.
There is a lot to celebrate. But not with one evening of New Year’s Eve fireworks and bacchanal. And no hangover. The Captain of our American crew does not drink. Instead we can get high again on our sacred American values, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the respect we have for each other.
What about you? Will you commit to being on board for the long run? We have 1460 days to right the Ship of State in order to earn another four year assignment.
And it is not just our glorious Ship of State that needs tending. Our precincts must be developed and our local and state candidates supported. It is said that George Soros has begun to fund key local races. Each of us must stay engaged against this tide of globalism and diminished sovereignty. We are the tugboats and the tenders in the rivers and bays. Whatever skill you possess, whatever hours you have, would you make a commitment to donate to our renewed conservative Republican Party this year?
Fireworks are dramatic but short lived. Our new president could retire to his Mir-A-Lago but instead he chooses to work for us for free. How about you? Will it be just fireworks or works?
