Tampa Bay Young Republicans August Meeting

Join us for our August Annual Meeting and Elections!

Our guest speaker will be Francisco Gonzalez, Vice President of Advancement, of the James Madison Institute. 

Francisco Gonzalez is the Vice President of Advancement for The James Madison Institute and currently resides in Orlando. Born and raised in South Florida, Francisco graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, earned his B.A. in history at Florida Atlantic University, and an M.A. in history at the University of Maryland. While at Maryland, he was the co-founder and Managing Editor of The Terrapin Times, an award-winning conservative student newspaper.
From 2004-2007, Francisco was the Director of Membership and Campus Leadership and later, a development officer, at the Intercollegiate Studies Institute, an organization devoted to “Educating for Liberty” on America’s college campuses. Since 2008, Francisco has led the development efforts for The James Madison Institute.

Francisco has served on the board of directors of two different nonprofit organizations, Project Veritas (2010-2014) and Rock by the Sea (2010-2016).

In 2015, Francisco started a podcast, Agents of Innovation, which features interviews with entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and artists. It is available on iTunes, Stitcher, and Soundcloud, with new episodes released monthly.

Recently, Francisco was accepted as part of Class VII (2016-2017) of Connect Florida, a statewide leadership program for young professionals focused on developing Florida’s existing and emerging leaders.
