A Message From the Chair
- Dana Galen -
This is an Excellent Day to Wake up!
America is experiencing a cultural revolution. Not with guns and war room plans. There will be no armaments in this revolution. Actually, our legal armaments, our police, have been weakened. That’s what “Defund the Police” was all about. So is “gun control”. Don’t think for one minute that the Left is not afraid of an armed citizen. Hence the hand-wringing over school shootings. As Rahm Emanuel stated, “Never let a good crisis go to waste”. So now we are in the crisis stage. A school shooting happens and out jumps the usual gang of fools, whining about gun control, although 98% of these shooters have no gun license, no training, and no regard for human life. And believe me, these people know this, but they are being led by those who have a much darker plan for America and it has permeated the very foundations of America’s schools.
They started their plan as early as the 1950s. You see, when World War I didn’t ruin us, the great stock market crash of 1929 didn’t ruin us, and the great depression didn’t ruin us, and WWII didn’t ruin us, they realized the only way we could possibly be ruined must come from within. The cold war didn’t kill us, but K-12 can certainly ruin us and even kill us. Although this takes more time, they decided, it is worth the wait.....

Meet Our Treasurer
Gina d’Angelo was very distressed by the results of the 2020 Presidential Election. She fervently believed it was a wake-up call to get more involved and started reading some more books about the political process. “I highly recommend Dan Bongino’s “Follow the Money,” she adds. As a longtime Floridian (over 30 years living here as a resident), Gina also phoned her sister in Michigan, a Republican Party Precinct Committeewoman who encouraged her to take on the same role here in Florida. And Gina was eager to do even more. In December 2022 Gina d'Angelo was elected to a two-year term as Treasurer of the Hillsborough County Republican Party (Hillsborough GOP).
As Treasurer, Gina is responsible for making sure that all of the Hillsborough GOP finances are accurate. She submits monthly reports to federal authorities and quarterly reports to state officials, along with monitoring all incoming and outgoing finances. And, as time allows, Gina helps out the Hillsborough GOP Chair and Committee Chairs with tasks. For example, “I’ve been helping out with the Lincoln Day and Reagan Day Dinners,” she notes. Furthermore, Gina is one of three Republican Area Leaders for the 600 Precincts in Hillsborough County, with the goal of “helping our Republican Precinct Committee Members with anything they need.”
Speaking of finances, Gina stresses this message: “I want to encourage all of our Hillsborough County Republicans to ‘donate local’ and help us elect common-sense candidates. For example, we need to retake the School Board.” Gina urges Republicans to help out locally by going to Hillsborough.GOP and pressing the “Donate Today” button on the Home Page of the website. “You can make it a recurring Monthly entry or a One-time donation,” she points out.
