Text Message Program Terms & Conditions

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from the Hillsborough County Republican Executive Committee ("we," "us," or "the Committee") — including election and early-voting reminders, event invitations, and volunteer and get-out-the-vote information — at the mobile number you provide. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

• Message frequency varies.
• Message and data rates may apply per your mobile carrier's plan.
• To stop receiving messages, reply STOP at any time. You will receive a one-time opt-out confirmation, and no further messages will be sent unless you re-subscribe.
• For help, reply HELP or email chair@hillsborough.gop.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others; carrier participation may vary.

How to opt in: submit your mobile number and check the consent box on our sign-up form at hillsborough.gop/join, or provide express written consent in person at a Committee event or on a volunteer/pledge card.

SMS Privacy Policy

Information we collect. When you opt in, we collect your mobile phone number, any name you provide, and a record of your consent (date and time). We use this information solely to send and administer the text message program described above.

How we use your information. Your mobile number and opt-in information are used only to deliver the Committee's text messages and to honor your opt-out and help requests.

We do not sell or share your information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. We may share information only with service providers who help us operate the messaging program (for example, our SMS delivery provider), and only as needed to deliver the messages.

Opting out. You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP. This removes your number from the program.

Data retention. We retain your opt-in record for as long as you remain subscribed and as required to document consent; after you opt out we retain only what is necessary to honor your opt-out.
